Posts

  • Posts are one of the most important tools on EveryFave for publishers. They help you share timely information in a clear format that is easier for local customers to browse and understand.

    • The four post types

      Post typeUse it forExamples
Limited-Time OffersTime-sensitive promotions or opportunities with a clear validity period.Flash sale, today-only special, weekend offer, holiday discount, limited booking window
EventsUpcoming in-person or virtual activities with a date and time.Store event, tasting, workshop, live performance, community session
Featured & HighlightsImportant non-time-sensitive content you want to spotlight.Featured product, signature service, new collection, business highlight, special menu item
News & UpdatesBusiness announcements and informative updates.Holiday hours, reopening notice, service update, milestone, community announcement

Important: Limited-Time Offers and Events do not expire automatically. Delete expired time-sensitive posts manually.

      • How to choose the right post type

        • Use Limited-Time Offers when timing is a core part of the value.

        • Use Events when people need to know when something is happening and may plan around it.

        • Use Featured & Highlights when you want to spotlight something important without a narrow expiry window.

        • Use News & Updates when the goal is to inform rather than to promote.

      • Creating an effective post

        • Write a title that tells the customer what the post is about right away.

        • Use the body text to provide useful details, not just slogans.

        • Choose an image that supports the message and looks credible on the platform.

        • Add relevant tags or keywords if available.

        • For Limited-Time Offers and Events, make sure the title, image, and post details clearly show when the offer or event is valid.

        • To make the post live after editing, choose Publish in the Action box. To keep working on it later, choose Draft. When you are finished, click Post to publish or Save to keep it as a draft.

      • Practical publishing advice

        • Publish regularly enough to stay visible, but avoid posting low-value content just to increase volume.

        • Match the post type to the content. Misclassified posts are harder for customers to trust and easier to ignore.

        • Plan time-sensitive posts in advance so the content clearly reflects the real offer or event period.

        • Use Featured & Highlights and News & Updates to maintain visibility between major promotions or events.
